  • Is Paint Correction necessary prior to applying a ceramic coating?
    Paint correction must be done prior to coating any vehicle to get the best results and per the terms of System X Warranty.
  • Do I need a special car wash/soap to wash the vehicle after application?
    No special washing, soap, or shampoo is required. Using an automated car wash is fine as well - touch less automated car washes are preferred as cloth car washes often have debris and stone chips left in the brushes/cloth from infrequent maintenance.
  • What is the advantage of System X over polyurethane clear coats that already provide significant gloss and color retention?
    System X provides additional gloss and protection shield over clear coats. The ceramic resin bonded coating helps contaminants slide off easily, which give them less time to eat into the surface. An added plus is the ease of cleaning your vehicle. An easy way to think of it would be that System X is the equivalent of another, harder and glossier clear coat layer.

  • How often should you clay bar your car?
    Clay bars should only be used as a necessary evil when they are needed rather than on a regular schedule.
  • What products do you carry?

  • Do I need to be present during the detail
    No need, as long as certain needs are met (power and water source within 100 feet of vehicle and doors unlocked or keys left with detailer) then you are good to go :)
  • What if it's raining or freezing?
    The majority of jobs can be carried out in the rain as we are equipped with a large 13 x 13 tent that can quite easily be set up for most vehicles. (Vehicles under 6 feet) When temperatures dip below freezing and no indoor heated spaces can be provided, the appointment will have to be rescheduled to our next open availability when the temperatures permit. Safety is the primary reason for this, also some of our products and equipment will not work when temperatures are below zero.
  • What is Paint correction
    Paint correction is the process of permanently removing surface scratches, swirl marks, hazing, marring, and other imperfections in your vehicle's paint. It's a powerful way to bring the color back to its original shine!
